HDR is seeking a Drinking Water Market Sector Development Director to lead strategies across HDR geographies, coordinating with leadership, client managers and directors. This role drives top-line growth, market expansion, and strategic initiatives in the drinking water sector.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in drinking water, a strong engineering or business background, proven sales and relationship skills, and the ability to travel to support key pursuits and client development across HDR’s

Qualifications

• 15+ years relevant industry experience in drinking water or related field.
• Demonstrated self-starter with ability to drive projects with minimal oversight.
• Proven ability to win contracts and develop client relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with procurement of professional services in A/E/C.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of business strategies across HDR geographies.
• Serve as Client Manager for key clients and pursue opportunities.
• Promote HDR services to Drinking Water clients across all geographies.
• Support regional leadership in project delivery and staff development.
• Identify investments to advance HDR leadership in drinking water.
