Aviator Nation is seeking a Maintenance role for its Malibu & Dreamland locations. The role focuses on keeping the building clean, safe, and fully operational, supporting both retail and restaurant spaces with a proactive, get-it-done attitude.

You will perform daily cleaning, exterior upkeep, trash management, and inventory of supplies while cooperating with team members to promote a pristine environment and reliable operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all building aspects for customer visits readiness.

• Manage supplies inventory and place reorders as needed.
• Collaborate with landscapers and upkeep exterior signage.

Overview

Our Aviator Nation Malibu & Dreamland Maintenance is one who loves working in a fast-pacedenvironment, with a get-it-done mentality and always has a positive mindset going into every day’schallenges while representing the Aviator Nation Brand and Lifestyle! The maintenance role is essentialto the operation of the retail and restaurant – checking up on all aspects of the building, keeping interiorand exterior of the building clean, and making sure everything is in operating order, and cooperating withother team members. Individuals in this role take pride in their work and are passionate about promotinga clean and safe environment. Demonstrates strong work ethics and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures all aspects of the building are maintained and ready for customer visits.
• Regular deep cleaning, organization, and service of exterior areas, including the trash/wastemanagement, light landscaping maintenance and the outside store front including sidewalksand windows.
• Daily trash and recycling collection and removal.
• Adhere to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists and schedules (see below).
• Communicate any facilities issues to the management team.
• Keep inventory of supplies and cleaning materials and prepare reorder requests to Management.

Skills, Abilities & Requirements

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, climb, walk and stand for long durations of time.
• Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of up to 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color peripheral and depth perception.
• Noise level in the work environment can be intense.
• Ability to work outside for the majority of the shift.

Daily Cleaning Checklist and Schedule (Outside)

• Clean all trash along AN signs in Air Garage parking lot, in front of BU and DL storefront, andnorth side of the parking lot.
• Clean all trash along both BU and DL entrances, and around large trash bins on north side ofparking lot.
• Clean all trash inside the marquee sign base.
• Water all plants on the property.
• Power wash entrance and back patio (every other shift).
• Wipe down bench and beams in front.
• Clean up trash from underneath shrubs in front of the store.
• Be in communication with the landscaper.
• Learn the sprinkler system (coordinate with the landscaper).
• Maintain parking signs.
• Maintain marquee signs.
• Maintain, stored if not in use and clean cones.
• Touch up exterior paint.

Daily Cleaning Checklist and Schedule (Inside)

• Sweep and Mop dining area.
• Vacuum all rugs to ensure cleanliness and to remove all sand.
• Sanitize and clean all bathrooms, refill all utilities before the restaurant opens.
• Sweep and Mop upstairs office.
• Make sure all trash cans have liners and are clean for the rest of day use.
• Dust corners and crevices to remove i.e dust bunnies, cobwebs, debris.
• Wipe down, sanitize all tables and chairs.
• Create a list and inventory of supplies as needed to order.

Rate of Pay and Benefits

• Starting rate of $20-$24/hr
• 50% off Dreamland and Aviator Nation

Salary Range – California

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Aviator Nation includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.
