Job summary

Aviator Nation in Malibu, CA is seeking kitchen staff to prepare, stock, and assemble dishes for service. You will maintain a clean, organized workstation and collaborate with front-of-house to fulfill guest orders accurately.

Starting rate $20-$24 per hour DOE. Both part-time and full-time shifts are available, with day and night options. This role includes comprehensive training, opportunities for internal advancement, and benefits for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• 0-4 years experience in working in a kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to culinary quality.
• Comprehensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
• Ability to maintain focus, efficiency, and composure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Openness to receiving constructive feedback and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in cooking methods, food temperature standards, and proper equipment operation.
• Thorough understanding of health department regulations and food safety standards.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, climb, walk, and stand for long durations of time.


• Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of up to 50 pounds.


• Vision abilities include close, distance, color peripheral, and depth perception.


• The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
