Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Sales Associate to guide customers in discovering home pieces, drive sales, and uphold brand standards. You will maintain a beautifully presented sales floor, support onboarding, and foster a welcoming environment for teammates and customers.

You will greet customers, demonstrate product knowledge, promote loyalty programs, and process transactions while collaborating with store leadership to ensure profitability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise.
• Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner, respond to questions, process payments, and involve higher level management as appropriate.
• Communicate awareness of applicable promotions, offers, loyalty programs, and other initiatives to customers.
• Demonstrate excellent service and brand standards in selling, customer service, visual merchandising and teamwork.
• Lead by example and support store management in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.
• Promote the brand by engaging customers in creative activities and demonstrations.
• Assist in ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.
• Engage in, maintain and support store safety standards and training.
• Process incoming/outgoing packages, curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, buy online pickup in store, timely.
