Job summary

Clayton Retail in Texarkana, TX is seeking a Home Consultant to guide customers through the home buying journey. You will help identify floor plans, select options, and coordinate construction to deliver a world class experience.

The role emphasizes relationship-driven sales, presentation skills, and strong teamwork, with a base salary of $50k plus a commission plan and full-time benefits. Paid time off and health options are included as part of Clayton’s benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Create a world class home buying experience by assisting customers to identify a floor plan, select options, and coordinate the construction process
• Set home center visits utilizing prospect database and by converting ad calls and web leads to appointments
• Present potential buyers display homes and demonstrate features and benefits to create added value
• Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers via the company’s CRM system
• Participate in all sales meetings, training opportunities and other company sponsored functions
• Work in a team environment and assist with miscellaneous duties as required
