Job summary

Origin Bank in Louisiana seeks a customer-focused teller to provide trusted banking advice, process a variety of transactions, open new accounts, and resolve issues in a manner that promotes positive experiences and aligns with our Brand promise and Core Values.

You will use our banking systems, maintain an accurate cash drawer, educate customers on safe banking practices, support referrals, and travel to assigned Banking Centers as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Knowledge of the Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn bank-specific software such as MPC, IBS, ADP, etc.

Responsibilities

• Serves customers by providing trusted banking advice and processing transactions.
• Opens new accounts and researches/resolves problems to promote positive customer experiences.
• Maintains accurate and balanced cash drawer; follows cash handling, reconciliation, and security procedures.
• Educates customers on safe banking practices and helps prevent fraud.
• Follows policies and refers business to partners as needed.
