Job summary

Regions Bank in Laplace, Louisiana is seeking a Relationship Banker I to deliver an exceptional customer experience on the cash line and over the phone, processing transactions and identifying opportunities to meet customers’ needs.

You will build lasting relationships, educate customers on digital banking options, and support the branch team while working toward branch goals. Prior teller or retail service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and electronically.
• Proficient computer use and sustained attention to monitor.
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line and over the phone.
• Handle transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cards.
• Develop relationships with customers and stay informed about their banking needs.
• Educate customers on digital solutions such as mobile and online banking.
• Assist team members and refer complex needs to internal specialists.
• Follow bank processes and manage operational risk.
• Help achieve branch targets by identifying customer needs and offering Regions solutions.
• May conduct outbound calls to educate customers about technology and services.
