Job summary

Plymouth is seeking a Drawbench operator for our mill in Wisconsin. You will set up and operate steel tube reduction equipment to control OD, ID, and wall thickness, ensuring safe and efficient production while maintaining product quality.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, be trainable on draw bench processes, and able to read basic diagrams and perform simple measurements with micrometers and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate steel tube reduction equipment to reduce OD/ID/wall thickness (drawbenches and pointers).
• Review mill orders to ensure optimal processing.
• Report processing changes to department lead.
• Determine tooling for orders and process pieces to spec.
• Ensure proper alkaline cleaning and plug blowing of product.
