Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a DRAM Power Architect to shape power efficiency for AI-enabled memory products.

You will analyze power behavior, develop models, and influence architectural decisions balancing power, performance, and energy efficiency across the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include AI-assisted power analysis, model development, and ensuring power targets are met while collaborating with Design and Product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field and 8+ years of experience, or advanced degree
• Experience in multiple areas: DRAM architecture, memory subsystems, power analysis, or related disciplines
• Strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex technical challenges and develop solutions
• Ability to communicate technical concepts across engineering teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Perform AI-assisted DRAM power analysis and IDD characterization
• Develop and maintain power models and tools for architecture evaluation
• Translate power requirements into architectural recommendations
• Define DRAM power targets across product development
• Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, and System Architecture teams on power improvements
