Job Summary:

In this role, you'll work directly with homeowners to diagnose drain and sewer concerns, clear drain lines, and help customers understand what is happening with their plumbing system. We provide ongoing training and support to help you grow your technical skills and build a successful career.

This is an hourly + commission-based position, meaning your earning potential grows with your ability to identify customer needs, clearly explain plumbing concerns, and provide helpful solutions. The better you communicate and build trust with customers, the more successful you can become.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with homeowners to understand and diagnose drain and sewer concerns.
  • Perform drain cleaning and clearing services using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Assess plumbing and drain systems and identify potential issues.
  • Clearly explain plumbing concerns and findings to homeowners in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Educate customers on recommended next steps and available solutions, including camera inspections and potential repairs.
  • Build trust with customers by providing honest, professional, and solution-focused recommendations.
  • Complete quality work efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow plumbing safety standards, company procedures, and applicable local codes.
  • Work closely with the Plumbing Service Manager, Dispatch, and other team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Represent the company professionally and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Plumbing experience preferred, including entry-level or early-career candidates looking to grow in the industry.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, drain, and sewer systems is preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with homeowners and explaining technical information in a clear, easy-to-understand way.
  • A positive, professional, and personable attitude.
  • Ability to build trust and develop strong relationships with customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
  • Good time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Work Environment:

This position works primarily in residential field environments. Responsibilities may include working at customer homes, climbing ladders, navigating uneven surfaces, and working in confined spaces. The role may require lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds and operating hand and power tools and company vehicles. Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and dust may occur.
