Job summary

HELP is seeking a Residential Plumbing Installer in Cincinnati to join our field team. This full-time role involves installing, replacing, and repairing residential plumbing systems, including water heaters, drains, gas lines, and related components, on a fast-paced service schedule.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of residential plumbing installation experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently and with a team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of residential plumbing installation experience.
  • Knowledge of boiler piping, circulator pumps, expansion tanks, and zone valves.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

  • Install, replace, and repair residential plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Complete re-pipes, water heater installations, and sewer work.
  • Measure, cut, thread, fit, assemble, and connect piping.
  • Work with PEX, copper, PVC, ABS, cast iron, and other materials.
  • Use plumbing tools safely and effectively and maintain a clean jobsite.
  • Document work details, estimates, and recommendations.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team.

Job description

We are looking for a Residential Plumbing Installer. The successful candidate should be technically skilled, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced residential service environment. This is a full-time position and includes rotating on-call responsibilities. This position has high earning potential, pays by piece rate, and is eligible for commissions on qualified upsells.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, replace, and repair residential plumbing systems and equipment, including water heaters, boilers, water supply lines, drain and sewer lines, gas lines, and related components..
  • Complete re-pipes, water heater installations, drain and sewer work, and other residential plumbing projects.
  • Measure, cut, thread, fit, assemble, and connect piping using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Work with PEX, copper, PVC, ABS, cast iron, and other common residential plumbing materials.
  • Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively, including pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, press tools, manometers, testing equipment, and power tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite throughout the installation process.
  • Communicate respectfully and professionally with customers regarding work performed.
  • Document details of all calls, including work completed, materials used, estimates, and recommendations.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in accordance with company quality, safety, and customer service standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 2+ years of residential plumbing installation experience.
  • Previous experience performing residential plumbing installations and repairs.
  • Working knowledge of boiler piping, circulator pumps, expansion tanks, and zone valves preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable local plumbing and mechanical codes.
  • Journeyman license is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and cohesively with team members, apprentices, and management.
  • Professional and customer-focused approach when working in residential homes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works in field environments across residential job sites, including homes, attics, crawl spaces, basements, garages, and other confined or unfinished areas. Regularly climbs ladders, navigates uneven surfaces, works in confined spaces, and moves materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools, plumbing equipment, and company vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, communicate, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, dust, heat, cold, and varying jobsite conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to perform essential functions.

Pay Range

$50,000 - $100,000 USD
