Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Drafter/Engineering Technician to support the Advanced Technologies line. You will produce 2D and 3D CAD models, create drawings with GD&T, and develop manufacturable technical packages for weapon systems and support equipment.

You will work closely with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to translate concepts into accurate drafting deliverables, ensuring compliance with DoD standards and project configurations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in industry CAD tools and drafting principles.
• Strong GD&T and dimensioning skills.
• Experience coordinating with engineering teams on hardware projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D and 3D CAD models for mechanical assemblies and systems.
• Create fabrication and assembly drawings with tolerances and material specs.
• Update and maintain as-built drawings and baselines.
• Coordinate vendor activities to ensure conformance to specs.
• Support design changes based on test results and reviews.
