Job summary

AVIAN in Florida is seeking a Drafter to support our DoD customer. You will develop and maintain engineering drawings and CAD models using SolidWorks and other tools, working with engineers and government stakeholders to ensure accuracy.

The role requires 2-3 years drafting experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain DoD security clearance. Familiarity with AutoCAD, NX, CREO and MS Office is preferred; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Prepare and maintain government engineering drawings and related documentation.
• Review data to develop accurate and complete drawings.
• Create/modify 2D and 3D drawings and models using CAD tools.
• Incorporate changes and feedback into drawings and documentation.
• Ensure drawings meet applicable standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings and documentation for government requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy and consistency with specifications.
• Create and modify 2D/3D CAD models using SolidWorks and other CAD tools.
• Incorporate redlines, feedback, and engineering changes.
• Maintain revision history and configuration control across drawings.
