Job summary

Aero Simulation, Inc. in Florida seeks a Mechanical CAD Drafter to perform detail design, drafting, and build/test support for complex simulation and training devices, primarily using SolidWorks. Baseline work may use AutoCAD and other CAD tools.

You will collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to develop production drawing packages released for manufacture. The role requires 2–5 years of experience with parametric modeling/drafting and an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of practical experience using parametric modeling/drafting software, preferably Solidworks.
• Experience using 2D CAD Programs such as AutoCad.
• Experience using software tools commonly used in engineering work environments such as Microsoft Windows, MS Office, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Produces CAD models and drawings of electro‑mechanical assemblies, ensuring manufacturability and reliability.
• Supports engineering with changes by creating engineering change documents and documentation updates.
• Assists in customer events and project milestones as required.
