Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Equipment Operator (Dozer Operator) at our Middle River, MD location to safely operate a bulldozer for moving, grading, and managing aggregate materials. You will help maintain stockpiles, ensure site efficiency, and support mining and plant operations.

The role requires 2–3 years of bulldozer experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a commitment to safety. We offer comprehensive benefits and a collaborative work environment near Chase, MD.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating bulldozers, preferably in quarry/aggregate.
• Experience operating bulldozers in aggregates/mining/heavy construction is preferred.
• Ability to move, stockpile and manage materials like sand, gravel, stone.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers to move, level, and spread materials like sand, gravel, and crushed stone.
• Maintain stockpile shapes and manage material flow for efficient production.
• Clear and prepare land for mining, roads, and plant operations.
• Strip overburden to expose deposits and support safety.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow site plans and grade specs for accurate material placement.
• Coordinate with loaders and excavators to meet production targets.
• Adhere to safety regulations to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
• Build haul roads and working surfaces for safe equipment movement.
• Control dust and assist with environmental compliance.
• Communicate with supervisors via radio to coordinate operations.
