Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a security guard to observe and report activities at client sites, patrol premises, and enforce site regulations. The role requires standing for much of the workday and effective English communication.

Responsibilities include monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting entry points, and completing detailed incident reports. Must meet NY State license requirements and be at least 21 years old; benefits listed include PTO and health plans.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, ensuring security of property and personnel.
• Patrol premises, monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings and access points, and enforce regulations as directed.
• Complete incident reports by recording observations and interviewing witnesses; obtain signatures.
• Perform tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

USD $23.74 - USD $23.74 /Hr.

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
• MUST have Valid NY State Security Guard License.
• Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field. (Preferred not required)
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Technical working knowledge of building systems.
