Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is hiring a Security Guard to observe and report at a client site. The role requires patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance, and enforcing site rules.

A NYS Security Guard license and a valid driver’s license are essential, with English communication skills and physical fitness a must. Typical shift runs Wednesday through Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with compensation up to $17.50 per hour. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and 5–7 years of U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5–7 year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to understand English and communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at the client site to ensure security and safety of property and personnel.
• Conduct periodic patrols to check for irregularities and enforce site regulations.
• Record observations and incidents, and complete reports with signatures when needed.
• Respond to incidents and follow supervisor or manager instructions.
• Perform duties such as guarding access points and monitoring surveillance equipment.

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Wednesday - Sunday 1600 PM -1200 AM

Up to USD $17.50/Hr.

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
