Job summary

Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking a security professional to observe and report activities at a client site in Long Beach, NY.

The role requires patrolling, monitoring surveillance systems, and enforcing site regulations to protect people and property. Qualified applicants will have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid NYS Security Guard License, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to perform duties and stand for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at the client site.
• Performs periodic security patrols to ensure the safety of property and personnel.
• Secures premises by patrolling, monitoring surveillance, and inspecting entry points.
• Completes incident reports by recording observations and interviewing witnesses.
• Executes tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Wednesday - Sunday 1600 PM -1200 AM

Pay Range

Up to USD $17.50/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
