Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a security guard to observe and protect client sites in New York. You will perform patrols, monitor surveillance, and report incidents while maintaining professional conduct at all times.

The position requires a NYS Security Guard License, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to communicate in English. A valid driver''s license and physical fitness are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid driver''s license.
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English.
• Physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Saturday – Monday 1500-2300 & Wednesday 0700-1500 (32 HRS.)

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.50/Hr.
