Job summary

Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to observe and report activities at a client site, ensuring the safety of people and property. The role requires standing most of the workday and working across multiple shifts (0730-1530, 1530-2330, 2330-0730).

Responsibilities include patrolling, securing entry points, and generating detailed incident reports. A NY State Security Guard License is required, along with strong English communication and physical fitness.

Qualifications

• Must have valid NY State Security Guard License.
• Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Technical working knowledge of building systems.
• Protective security experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Report irregularities; inform violators of policy and procedures.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitor surveillance equipment; inspect buildings and access points; permit entry.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses; obtain signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Floater 0730-1530, 1530-2330, 2330-0730 - Days will vary based on sc heudled PTO's and Specials requested by the client

Pay Range

Starting from USD $19.30/Hr.
