Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant security professional to observe and report activities at a client site, perform regular tours, and ensure the safety of people and property. The role requires standing for long periods and strong communication skills.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 1500–2300, with pay up to USD 26.98 per hour. NYS Security Guard License required; additional FDNY Life Safety Director license preferred; union benefits and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a NYS Security Guard License (minimum).
• Prior hotel or facility security experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
• Perform periodic tours to check for irregularities and ensure safety.
• Enforce site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Maintain effective communication with residents/customers and coworkers.

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Monday-Friday 1500-2300

Up to USD $26.98/Hr.

• Multiple Tours of the facility during your shift
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends
• Assist residents/customers with access control issues
• Tour the entire facility multiple times per shift
• Valid T-89 OR F89 FDNY Fire Life Safety Director License
• Valid NYS Security Guard License Minimum 2 years Hotel FLSD experience. *Preferred*
• Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field. (Preferred not required)
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Protective security experience a plusTechnical working knowledge of building systems.
