Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a security officer to observe and report on-site activities at a NY client site. You will perform routine tours, enforce site regulations, and assist residents and visitors with access control while maintaining safety and professionalism.

The role requires valid NY security licenses, a background suitable for protecting property, and the ability to stand for long periods. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with benefits and overtime

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 1500-2300

Pay Range

Up to USD $26.98/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Multiple Tours of the facility during your shift
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends
• Assist residents/customers with access control issues
• Tour the entire facility multiple times per shift

Qualifications

• Valid T-89 OR F89 FDNY Fire Life Safety Director License
• Valid NYS Security Guard License Minimum 2 years Hotel FLSD experience. *Preferred*
• Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field. (Preferred not required)
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Protective security experience a plusTechnical working knowledge of building systems.
