Shamin Hotels seeks an Area Director of Sales to lead the downtown portfolio's sales strategy across rooms, meetings, catering and events in Richmond, VA. You will align with GMs and operations, build lasting client relationships, and drive occupancy and ADR through smart pricing and partnerships.

You’ll recruit and mentor sales managers and coordinators, collaborate with marketing on campaigns, and represent the company at industry events and trade shows to grow the downtown footprint.

• Set the sales direction for multiple hotels across downtown.
• Build relationships with corporate accounts, event planners, travel partners and local organizations.
• Grow revenue through occupancy and ADR improvements and opportunistic upsells.
• Lead, coach, and develop sales managers, coordinators and support staff.
• Represent Shamin Hotels at industry events, trade shows and community gatherings downtown.
• Own the sales budgets, forecasts, and expense tracking to drive results.
