Aspire Bakeries in Van Nuys, CA is hiring an Operator 2, Bakery-Mixing - 1st Shift to prepare, scale, and mix ingredients according to approved recipes, ensuring dough quality and food safety.

Shift 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; hourly rate $20.75–$22.55. You will operate mixing equipment, monitor dough characteristics, and support production schedules while maintaining sanitation and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Able to work in a temperature-controlled sanitation environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to move wheeled dough bowls up to 1,000 pounds.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and scale ingredients accurately according to approved recipes and production requirements.
• Operate mixing equipment to achieve required dough quality, consistency, and temperature standards.
• Monitor dough characteristics and make adjustments to support product quality expectations.
• Coordinate mixing activities with production capacity requirements and operational schedules.
• Maintain ingredient inventory organization, storage accuracy, and material availability.
• Document production and mixing data accurately to support traceability and operational effectiveness.
• Support food safety, quality, and sanitation standards through compliance with established procedures.
