Ace Hardware Corporation is seeking a Traffic Supervisor to oversee daily dispatches, deliveries and routines, ensuring DOT compliance and driver qualification files. You will audit logs, process payroll files, and maintain positive customer and staff relations while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include planning routes and equipment, directing transportation staff, reviewing orders, and coordinating with customers to resolve issues, with after-hours communication duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent previous experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Hours of Service rules.
• Familiar with Hazard Material information and regulations.
• Knowledge of Department Of Transportation rules.
• Be a safety champion with PPE usage and safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain DOT files and records on all drivers.
• Audit daily logs and on time deliveries.
• Plan work assignments and equipment allocations.
• Direct workers in transportation or related services.
• Dispatch personnel and vehicles in emergencies.
• Inspect materials, stock, vehicles for safety.
• Confer with customers and staff to resolve problems.
• Review orders and shipping notices to determine dates.
