Ace Hardware Corporation seeks a Traffic Supervisor to oversee the daily activities of the traffic department, including dispatches, deliveries, and routines. You will maintain DOT compliance, drive safety culture, and coordinate driver payroll and records in a fast-paced logistics setting.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. The role requires knowledge of DOT rules, the ability to work nontraditional hours, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations applicable to drivers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to work nontraditional hours and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly traffic department employees and daily dispatches.
• Maintain DOT files and records on all drivers.
• Process and maintain drivers’ payroll files.
• Audit daily logs and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Direct workers in transportation and related services.
• Plan work assignments and equipment allocations to meet goals.
• Ensure safety of the department, investigate incidents, and manage loss prevention.
