Qualifications

• 5+ to 7+ years hands-on DOT compliance or fleet safety experience
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT requirements
• Experience with driver qualification files, DOT audits, inspections, and records

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Ensure fleet operations meet federal/state safety requirements
• Maintain driver qualification files and required certifications
• Oversee hours-of-service compliance and ELDs
• Coordinate DOT audits, inspections, and reviews
• Conduct investigations and identify corrective actions
• Monitor vehicle inspections, repairs, and regulatory records
• Collaborate with drivers and leadership to reinforce safety
• Develop and improve DOT policies and safety programs
• Conduct driver safety training on regulatory requirements
• Identify compliance risks and implement solutions
• Travel ~50% across Texas for field support
• Assist with incident investigations when needed
