Job summary

Chain Electric Company is seeking a DOT Manager to ensure company-wide compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation and FMCSA regulations. The role oversees driver qualification, DOT drug/alcohol testing, credential management, regulatory recordkeeping, audits, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to three years in DOT compliance or transportation administration.
• Working knowledge of FMCSA driver qualification and compliance requirements.
• Experience administering DOT drug and alcohol testing preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and compliance software.

Responsibilities

• Manage driver qualification files and credentialing.
• Coordinate DOT drug and alcohol testing programs.
• Maintain regulatory records and FMCSA compliance documents.
• Audit and respond to DOT inspections and record requests.
• Collaborate with operations, fleet, safety, HR and leadership.
• Assist with CDL school coordination and training scheduling.
• Prepare communications for compliance issues.
