Job summary

Carvana in Tempe, AZ is seeking a high-energy Specialist to join the Driver Safe and Secure Team. You will administer DOT driver and market operations files to ensure compliance with DOT rules and support the Insurance Paralegal with incident reporting.

You will partner with Operations Leadership to educate drivers on DOT regulations, manage driver qualification and medical files securely, and assist with investigations while coordinating with Legal, Compliance, People Operations and Insurance.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in an office environment.
Ability to exercise prudent discretion regarding confidential and sensitive personnel information.
Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
Effective communication and time management skills.
Experience with DOT compliance and/or safety is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review new driver candidate files to ensure DOT and Carvana driver requirements are met.
Correct non-compliant data in the ELD system dashboard and address violations or errors.
Counsel and advise drivers on proper log completion and DOT regulations.
Educate drivers on avoiding DOT violations in collaboration with Operations Leadership.
Maintain Driver Qualification, medical, and other compliance files securely and confidentially.
Coordinate routine and post-accident drug and alcohol screenings and annual MVR reviews.
Assist with internal incident investigations and liaise with Legal, Compliance, and Insurance teams.
