Carvana in Tempe, AZ is seeking a high-energy Specialist to join the Driver Safe and Secure Team. You will administer DOT driver and market operations files to ensure compliance with DOT rules and support the Insurance Paralegal with incident reporting.
You will partner with Operations Leadership to educate drivers on DOT regulations, manage driver qualification and medical files securely, and assist with investigations while coordinating with Legal, Compliance, People Operations and Insurance.

We’re looking for a high-energy and organized Specialist to join a rapidly growing organization and report up through the Driver Safe and Secure Team. You will be aligned with a national territory, and will be the main point of contact for our Market Operations and Logistics leaders within that territory. Your primary responsibility will be administering and overseeing CDL Driver files and Market Operations Driver files to ensure Carvana and the drivers of Carvana’s haulers remain compliant with DOT rules. You will also provide general support to Carvana’s Corporate Insurance Paralegal by receiving and reviewing incident reports and ensuring claims are reported to insurance carriers and to the company’s Safety Manager by assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of Carvana’s Safety Program.
2+ years of experience in an office environment. Ability to exercise prudent discretion regarding confidential and sensitive personnel information Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail. Effective communication and time management skills. Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat, and with standard office equipment like computers, scanners, printers, etc. We’d love it if you to also had DOT Compliance and/or safety experience. OSHA and Safety related experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
