Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to oversee daily performance of service providers and hourly staff. You will drive safe, timely package delivery while maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities.

The role requires DOT certification, UPS Package Car driving experience, and a bachelor’s degree (or UPS internal equivalent). Expect a Monday–Friday style schedule with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• No visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be located in the job area or willing to relocate
• At least 21 years old
• Must have UPS Package Car driving experience
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kgs)
• Flexible shifts (up to five days per week)
• DOT-certified and able to pass a physical and driving test
• Bachelor's degree or three years UPS experience (current employee option)

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-road employees to maximize efficiency and safe package delivery
• Use performance metrics to track goals and improve operations
• Coordinate daily dispatch and audit on-road activities
• Maintain health and safety programs and compliance audits
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to staff
• Support labor planning and talent development initiatives
• Ensure adherence to company policies and customer-focused service
