University of St. Thomas invites qualified candidates for the Technical Support Partner (DOSS) position within Innovation & Technology Services.

The role serves as the liaison between ITS and university departments to ensure governance, documentation, and support for non-enterprise and departmental-owned systems. The incumbent develops support frameworks, documents system purpose, and maintains inventory records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.
• At least five years of technology support experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain formal support frameworks between ITS and departments, defining roles, escalation paths, vendor expectations, and lifecycle management.
• Document and inventory non-enterprise and departmental-owned systems, including purpose, scope, and business function, and publish knowledge base articles.
• Represent ITS on Technology Intake Process (TIP) to evaluate requests, determine ownership, and advise on supportability and integration.
• Act as ITS on-site contact for departmental systems and coordinate vendor installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure governance, risk reduction, and transparency by documenting responsibilities and aligning systems with ITS standards.
• Participate as ITS representative on implementation projects, finalizing support agreements, lifecycle plans, and knowledge resources before go-live.
