Job summary

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of Job Corps or related experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum of one-year Job Corps or related program experience.
• Valid in-state driver’s license preferred.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds and related movements.
• Overtime may be required; regular attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for students to achieve a positive attitude and proper behavior in dormitory living.
• Determine, recommend, and arrange student visits to counselors.
• Assist in unit activities, including unit government.
• Patrol and monitor dormitories and centers for safety and behavior.
• Prepare daily operations reports, pass lists, and other admin tasks.
• Direct students and assist in dorm cleanup and maintenance.
• Maintain dormitory files and ensure complete documentation.
• Enter student case notes in the center system.
• Support career development services and positive peer leadership.
