Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of Job Corps experience or related youth development experience.
• Able to meet physical requirements as described.
• Valid in-state driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the residential team — supervise staff who work directly with students in the dorms.
• Mentor young adults — support students toward personal, educational, and career goals.
• Create a positive living environment — keep dorms safe, clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Teach everyday life skills — help students develop responsibility, independence, good habits, communication skills, and confidence.
• Address student or staff concerns calmly, fairly, and professionally.
• Collaborate with counselors and other departments to help students stay on track.
• Maintain standards — conduct dorm inspections and enforce center policies.
