Job summary

Glenmont Job Corps Center in Glenmont, NY is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the campus’s facilities team, daily operations, and project work to keep buildings safe, functional, and running smoothly.

Lead maintenance staff, coordinate with contractors, manage work orders, budgets, and safety standards, and mentor Work-Based Learning students while ensuring high quality and on-time repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance team and coordinating daily operations.
• Supervision of staff, scheduling, and performance management.
• Experience navigating computerized work-order systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Lead, train, schedule, and hold Maintenance staff accountable for quality work
• Manage the computerized work order system and ensure repairs are completed on time
• Oversee outside contractors, subcontracted work, scopes of work, and project quality
• Support budgeting, facility planning, energy conservation, and department resources
• Identify facility concerns and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
• Coordinate maintenance projects with Center leadership and other departments
• Supervise and train Work-Based Learning students and student workers assigned to Maintenance
