Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours in Social Services required.
• Minimum of one year of counseling or related field experience.
• Valid in-state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with students and provide mentoring and guidance.
• Help students create educational, career, and personal goals and develop a plan to reach them.
• Provide personal and career counseling to address challenges affecting education or employment goals.
• Track student progress across academics, career training, residential life, and overall Job Corps experience.
• Maintain confidential student records and complete required case notes and assessments.
• Coordinate with departments to connect students with on-center and community resources.
• Identify barriers to success and collaborate with students and staff to find solutions.
• Support student retention and completion by keeping students engaged and progressing.
