Job summary

The role involves patrolling dorms, coordinating counselor visits, maintaining student files, and reporting on daily operations. A high school diploma is required; one year of Job Corps experience is preferred, and a CA driver’s license is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum of one year Job Corps or related program experience required.
• Valid in-state driver's license preferred.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for students to develop positive attitudes and proper behavior in dormitory living.
• Determine and arrange student visits to counselors.
• Patrol and monitor dormitories to ensure safety and proper behavior; resolve issues.
• Prepare daily operations reports and maintain student files.
• Enter student case notes in the center information system.
• Support career development services and mentoring within the dorm.
• Overtime may be required; regular attendance is expected.
• Provide positive customer service to students and staff.
