Job summary

AEG Presents Great Lakes - Masonic Temple is seeking reliable Door Staff to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for concertgoers, performers, and team members. You will screen guests, scan tickets, check credentials for backstage areas, and help manage crowds for each show.

This part-time role requires strong communication and de-escalation skills and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior event experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior event or security experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a loud, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Screen guests upon arrival and verify tickets.
• Check credentials for backstage and restricted areas.
• Assist with crowd control to maintain a safe venue atmosphere.
• Monitor guest behavior and enforce venue policies.
• Support emergency procedures and evacuation directions if needed.
• Provide guest assistance and information throughout events.
