Job summary

Vortex Doors is seeking Service Technicians to join our team of door industry professionals. You will install, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial doors, ensuring safety and reliability for clients. Prior experience is a plus, but entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.

You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and install door hardware while prioritizing quality workmanship and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in commercial door service is a plus but not required.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair a variety of commercial doors and hardware.
• Diagnose and repair door issues, including springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install and configure door hardware such as locks, handles, and access control systems.
• Ensure safety and building code compliance for all installations.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain repairs to clients.
