Job summary

Vortex Doors is seeking Service Technicians to join our team of door industry professionals. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of doors and related hardware to ensure safety and reliability.

We welcome applicants with door experience or those new to the field. You will work full-time on-site, with potential overtime and on-call hours, and receive industry-leading training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in commercial door service a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair a variety of commercial doors and hardware.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues, including springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install and configure door hardware such as locks, handles, closers, and access control systems.
• Ensure safety and code compliance for all installations and repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and offering solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and installations.
