Vortex Doors, America’s highest quality door repair company, seeks Service Technicians to install, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial doors. Entry-level applicants with a drive to learn are welcome.

You will diagnose issues with springs, hinges, locks, and electronic components, install hardware, and ensure safety and code compliance. Strong problem-solving and precise measurement skills are essential, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of various door types, brands and hardware.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure and performing precise measurements.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair a variety of commercial doors.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues such as springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install and configure door hardware including locks, closers, handles, and access control systems.
• Ensure safety compliance with building codes and company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical door issues and communicate cost-effective solutions.
• Perform quality checks to ensure installations and repairs meet company standards.
