Job summary

Vortex Doors is seeking Service Technicians to join our team of door industry professionals. You will install, repair, and maintain various types of doors and related hardware to ensure safe and efficient operation.

We value attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and commitment to quality workmanship. Full-time shifts are available during standard business hours, with potential overtime and on-call hours. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in commercial door service is a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair a variety of commercial doors and hardware.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues like springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install door hardware including locks, handles, closers and access control.
• Ensure all work meets safety and building code standards.
• Provide clear explanations and solutions to customers.
