Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking a Donor Greeter to warmly welcome donors, assist with unloading donations, and ensure proper handling in a store setting. You will be the first point of contact for donors and visitors, recording donations and organizing items for processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist donors with unloading and bringing donations into the store.
• Serve as a friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for donors and visitors.
• Accurately record and maintain donation log documentation.
• Sort donated goods into appropriate categories for processing and transportation.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling donations, moving merchandise, and operating equipment.
