Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Stewardship/Donor Relations Manager to lead donor stewardship and relationships.

The role reports to the Executive Director of Development and Planned Giving and drives engagement, recognition, and reporting to support fundraising goals. The ideal candidate brings a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in advancement, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Raiser's Edge NXT, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required with at least 3 years in advancement, donor relations, or related field.
Experience in higher education preferred.
Strong communication, project management, analytical, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute a comprehensive stewardship program for key donor constituencies.
Oversee donor recognition and appreciation initiatives and events.
Direct the preparation of donor impact, scholarship, and stewardship reports.
Manage the resolution of donor inquiries and concerns.
Ensure accuracy of donor records, recognition, and communications.
Collaborate with development staff to honor donor intent and support fund reporting.
Provide stewardship-related reporting, guidance, and training to staff.
Analyze outcomes and recommend process improvements.
Support fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and special projects.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Support fundraising events and represent the University.
