Job summary

Roof Above in Charlotte is seeking a Donor Relations Manager to advance the annual fund and deepen donor engagement through campaigns, communications, and stewardship. You will coordinate direct mail, events, and reporting, build donor recognition, and support the philanthropy team with data and process improvements.

A bachelor’s degree and at least three years of fundraising experience are required, with strong written and verbal skills and proficiency in CRM systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required and at least three years of fundraising or development experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage donors, partners, and colleagues effectively.
  • Proficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite and experience working with donor databases or CRM systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Commitment to delivering an outstanding experience to donors, volunteers, and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate annual fund campaigns to grow donor revenue.
  • Coordinate direct mail appeals, stewardship campaigns, events, and reporting.
  • Prepare reports tracking giving trends: participation, revenue, retention, upgrades.
  • Create a stewardship calendar for acknowledgments and donor communications.
  • Produce annual fund materials with Marketing; support donor recognition activities.
  • Provide admin support for donor and volunteer engagement.
