Job summary

LifeStream in Ontario, CA is hiring a Full-Time Phlebotomy Technician to conduct donor registration, interviews, and basic health assessments, perform phlebotomy on whole blood, monitor donor recovery, and ensure QC of equipment.

You will document all procedures, assist with donor programs, and work at multiple draw locations as needed. Must have strong customer service, ability to lift 30 pounds, and familiarity with computer systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant certificates encouraged.
• Ability to work with blood and handle specimens safely.
• Excellent customer service and accurate documentation.
• Capability to lift up to 30 pounds and drive a standard vehicle.
• Proficiency with computer systems and medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide donor registration, donor interviews, and basic health checks.
• Perform phlebotomy for whole blood collections and monitor recovery.
• Conduct pre-donation sample collection and QC on equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with donor program recruitment.
• Work at different draw locations as needed and ensure safety procedures.
