Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Center Donor Screener in Albuquerque, NM to greet donors, verify eligibility for plasma pheresis, and guide them through the screening process in a fast-paced environment.

Requires a high school diploma and at least 3 months in clerical or customer service roles, preferably in healthcare. Training will cover health history, donor education, and data recording procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history, basic medical questions, and health screening (BP, pulse, weight, temp).
• Perform finger sticks to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on screening process, health tests, appointment system, center policies, nutrition and center information as trained.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
