Job summary

CSL in Wichita, KS is seeking an entry-level Donor Center Associate to greet donors, guide them through registration and screening, and record donor data accurately. The role supports health checks, privacy, and safety procedures while ensuring a positive donor experience.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least three months of clerical or customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greets donors at the plasma collection center and conducts registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assists donors in completing the screening process per SOPs; assesses health history, asks medical questions, refers to medical staff when needed, and performs health screening procedures (BP, pulse, weight, temperature).
• Performs finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels as part of screening.
• Educates donors on the use of information derived from donated plasma after training; explains screening tests, appointment systems, policies, nutrition, and any relevant information.
• Registers applicants and transfers donors based on training and center needs; answers calls or transfers to staff as required.
• Maintains donor data in the electronic donor information management system as outlined in SOPs; monitors donor reactions and notifies staff as needed.
• Follows HSE and OSHA policies; keeps work area clean and ensures supplies and forms are available; maintains confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs; bilingual skills may be required at organization's discretion.
