CSL Vifor in Columbia, MO is seeking a Donor Center Associate to greet donors, guide them through registration and screening, and support the plasma pheresis process in a clinical setting.

You will perform health checks, answer questions, document donor data, maintain safety and confidentiality, and participate in training. Opportunities for cross-training may be available; local center policies and procedures apply.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history, questions, referrals to medical staff, and basic health screening such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature, and finger stick for hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products from donated plasma and explain the screening process, tests, appointment system, donation fees, center policies, nutrition, and other pertinent information.
• May register and transfer donors based on training and center needs.
• Answer the telephone or transfer calls to appropriate staff.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions during or after pheresis and notify staff as needed.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Understand policies related to hyperimmune programs at the center if applicable.
• Maintain a clean, efficient work environment and ensure sufficient operating supplies; follow HSE and OSHA policies; promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required at organization discretion.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
