Job summary

CSL Plasma Birmingham is seeking a Medical Screener - Reception Technician to greet donors, conduct initial screenings, and support donor care at our Birmingham, AL center. This is a full-time role focused on accurate data collection, safety, and courteous service.

Responsibilities include assisting donors with screening steps, performing basic health checks, and answering inquiries. This role requires attention to SOPs, confidentiality, and teamwork within the plasma collection center.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service role.
• Experience in medical or health provider environment preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify eligibility for plasma donation.
• Assist donors in completing the screening procedures per SOPs.
• Perform health screenings such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature.
• Record donor data accurately in electronic donor system.
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe center and ensure supplies are available.
• Protect donor confidentiality at all times.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
